Facility Technician (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and advanced operating and maintenance support to all building mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, automation, lighting, snow melt and ancillary systems.
• Perform tasks including but not limited to: servicing and repairing HVAC units, plumbing systems, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
• Ensure all systems are functioning properly and make necessary repairs to maintain optimal building conditions.
• Work with digital sling, fire equipment, saws, torches, electric meters, air monitors, circuit tracers, manual and hydraulic lifts, and assorted hand tools.
• Assist in weekend, holiday, and overtime work as required.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school specializing in HVAC.
• One to two years of related experience/training in HVAC and building maintenance.
• Previous experience in all aspects of HVAC and building maintenance.
• Prior knowledge of plumbing, pipe-fitting, refrigeration, and steam technology.
• Experience with Siemens or similar building automation system is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Self-starter with strong team orientation and substantial leadership skills.
• Computer literate.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Hours of work: 40 hours/week.
• Hour rate: $23.00-$28.00.
