Responsibilities
- Provide routine and advanced operating and maintenance support to all building mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, automation, lighting, snow melt and ancillary systems.
- Perform tasks including but not limited to: servicing and repairing HVAC units, plumbing systems, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
- Ensure all systems are functioning properly and make necessary repairs to maintain optimal building conditions.
- Work with digital sling, fire equipment, saws, torches, electric meters, air monitors, circuit tracers, manual and hydraulic lifts, and assorted hand tools.
- Assist in weekend, holiday, and overtime work as required.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school specializing in HVAC.
- One to two years of related experience/training in HVAC and building maintenance.
- Previous experience in all aspects of HVAC and building maintenance.
- Prior knowledge of plumbing, pipe-fitting, refrigeration, and steam technology.
- Experience with Siemens or similar building automation system is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. or more.
- Self-starter with strong team orientation and substantial leadership skills.
- Computer literate.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Hours of work: 40 hours/week.
- Hour rate: $23.00-$28.00.
