About the role
CMI Management LLC, now part of the Dexterra Group, is a provider of business, technology, and facilities management solutions for government and commercial clients. The Facility Project Manager will oversee all facilities maintenance and operations at CMI’s client site in Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance activities
- Ensure sufficient qualified employees are on staff to meet preventative maintenance, service order, and corrective maintenance requirements
- Ensure all reporting is complete and submitted at required intervals or deadlines
- Train employees in systems to ensure efficient use
- Oversee recurring repairs and involvement with planned and funded capital improvement projects
- Provide management, supervision, and responsibility for efficient, effective, economical, and satisfactory operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems, including:
- Electrical systems and equipment
- Mechanical, plumbing, energy management control systems (EMCS), and HVAC systems and equipment
- Fire suppression systems, life safety systems and equipment
- Service request desk operations, record keeping using a CMMS, and other administrative functions
- Manage janitorial personnel
Requirements
- High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Five (5) years of recent (within the past ten years) responsible experience in management and supervision of complex commercial and institutional facilities involving facility operations and maintenance, and janitorial services
- Experience managing facilities and maintenance operations of a facility of at least 500K square feet with similar complexity and scope
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in establishing and managing an organization that operates and repairs complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
