Facility Project Manager

About the role

CMI Management LLC, now part of the Dexterra Group, is seeking a Facility Project Manager to manage all facilities maintenance and operations at a client site in VA. The company is headquartered in Alexandria, VA and provides efficient business, technology, and facilities management solutions to government and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day Operation and Maintenance activities
• Ensure a sufficient number of qualified employees are on staff to meet maintenance requirements
• Ensure all reporting is complete and submitted at required intervals or deadlines
• Oversee recurring repairs and involvement with planned and funded capital improvement projects
• Manage and supervise the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems, including:
  • Electrical systems and equipment
  • Mechanical, plumbing, energy management control systems (EMCS), and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment
  • Fire suppression systems, life safety systems and equipment
  • Service request desk operations and record keeping using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Manage Janitorial personnel

Qualifications

• High school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Five years of recent experience in managing complex commercial and institutional facilities involving facility operations and maintenance, and janitorial services
• Experience managing facilities and maintenance operations of a facility of at least 500K square feet with similar complexity and scope
• Demonstrated skills and knowledge in establishing and managing an organization that operates and repairs complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
