Facility Operations Manager

About the role

The Facilities Operations Manager (FOM) is responsible for the effective daily management and oversight of Annexes 2-9 as described in the current BOS contract. The FOM serves as the primary operational lead for facilities maintenance, project coordination, customer support, workforce oversight, and government interface activities. This position acts as the Government's primary point of contact for facility operations, project development, service requests, emergency response coordination, and after-hours operational support while ensuring compliance with contract requirements, GCR policies, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Sole administrator responsible for Annexes 2-9.
• Manage, plan, prioritize, organize, control, report, evaluate, and adjust facilities maintenance operations, custodial support, pest management, landscaping, and snow removal services.
• Coordinate service orders and maintenance support for Central Utility Plant (CUP) equipment and all mechanical and electrical systems with support from the Chief Facility Engineer.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours emergency calls from Government personnel and engineering staff, including providing updates on reportable events.
• Act as Deputy Project Manager and provide continuity of operations during the Project Manager's absence.
• Coordinate project planning, job walks, scope development, and proposal submissions with Government representatives.
• Serve as the sole administrator for Annexes 2-9 under the BOS contract.
• Process and oversee the coding of invoices for approval and payment.
• Purchase materials, supplies, equipment, and services required for Preventive Maintenance (PM), Service Orders, and IDIQ projects.
