Responsibilities
- Delivering strategic and financial leadership for long-range modernization planning, roadmap development, and budget justification
- Establishing and leading advanced systems engineering efforts, including system-of-systems integration strategies and high-level technical architecture development
- Serving as a technical authority for engineering standards, technical review boards, and program-level decision processes
- Providing advanced digital engineering and MBSE leadership for mission-essential infrastructure development
- Guiding internal management and operations processes, cross-functional engineering integration, and facility-wide technical alignment
- Supporting MDIOC mission functions including modeling & simulation support, event execution, enterprise services, network/data center services, cyber operations, and test operations centers
- Leading cross-agency technical coordination to ensure facility readiness for test events, distributed operations, and multi-domain mission execution
- Cooking, power cycles, system outages, or emergency facility events
Requirements
- US Citizenship required
- Master’s degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of engineering experience, or Bachelor’s in STEM with 20+ years of experience
- Demonstrated experience providing technical authority, advanced systems engineering leadership, and enterprise-level integration
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, executive-level)
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and resolve complex technical challenges
- Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one)
