TeamHealth is seeking an experienced anesthesiologist to serve as facility medical director at Carillon Surgery Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. About the Role

Enjoy competitive compensation in the low $400K range, a $75,000 sign-on bonus, and no call or weekends. Lead a collaborative, high-performing anesthesiology team in a modern outpatient environment where quality and teamwork are top priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and clinical leadership, partnering closely with CRNAs, surgeons, and facility administration to ensure exceptional patient care, operational efficiency, and continued program growth.
• Help lead a collaborative, physician-led culture with experienced CRNAs and surgical specialists.
• Influence clinical operations, mentor colleagues, and drive quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist.
• Experience in anesthesiology and ambulatory surgery center settings.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage a busy clinical practice while providing oversight and direction to the anesthesiology team.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice medicine in Florida.
• Completion of an anesthesia residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
