Facility Manager (Onsite)

What You Will Do

• Ensure reliability and maintainability of campus infrastructure and equipment, plant assets and processes, utilities, high and low voltage distribution systems, lighting, control loops, fire protection, safety and security systems, HVAC systems, potable and non-potable water systems, wastewater processes, and emergency generators.
• Have responsibility for the tooling group inside the engine center and capital process ownership inside the disks business.
• Employ the use of Integrated Facility Management teams for site soft services such as cleaning/housekeeping procedures, waste management, yards and grounds activities, painting activities, locksmith services, and vehicle maintenance.
• Align organizational performance to business metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives using tools to achieve all departmental and organizational goals.
• Communicate well and identify improvement opportunities to increase survey scores by considering employee engagement and morale.
• Provide leadership and interface with supervisors, planners, contractors, customers, partners, and vendors.
• Promote a "JUST STOP" Safety Culture, including health/wellness initiatives and frequent interactions with staff, to reinforce safety practices and minimize risks.
• Conduct DIVEs, and After-Action Reviews, for unplanned incidents or injuries and put measures in place to prevent any possible reoccurrences.
• Support and oversee to off shifts including nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years facilities management experience or, Advanced degree with 8 years relative facilities management experience required; Or a Technical Diploma/ relevant (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction) Certifications and 12 years of facilities of experience.
• Facilities management experience include machine & equipment maintenance, construction projects, building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, cleaning, etc.

Qualifications We Prefer

• 8+yrs of current experience managing personnel in a team environment.
• Certificate in Facilities Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience communicating with various levels of management and regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Knowledge and experience managing IFM contractors.
