Facility Manager

Min USD $45,000.00/Yr. – Max USD $50,000.00/Yr. This position is located at East 178 Street, Bronx, NY 10457.

About the role

S:US is seeking a Facilities Manager for their families with children shelter in the Bronx. The Facilities Manager will provide supervisory oversight and training to residential aides and contracted maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing individual supervisory meetings, building inspections, and provide ongoing feedback regarding job performance.
• Coordinate work schedules, timesheets, and requests for time off.
• Assign and evaluate work assignments, paperwork, and documentation including the Security Log and Maintenance Work Order Log books.
• Coordinate security and maintenance staff training, development, and evaluation.
• Fulfill duties of residential aides and/or custodial personnel in their absence when required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Security or Building Maintenance.
• Experience in office management and/or staff supervision.
• Experience working in a large residential/institutional setting with a special needs population.
• Strong writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• F-80, CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred).
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree (preferred).
• NYS Driver’s License (preferred).
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).
