About the Role
The Facilities Manager serves as the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the Regional Manager and the Account Director with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role manages facilities/plant operations teams, overseeing regulatory compliance, quality assurance activities, financial performance and reporting, and personnel management/development. Compliance with all JLL policies and procedures, including ethics and business practices, is required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the plant operations team, ensuring Maintenance, Financial, CMMS, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance programs are performed efficiently.
- Make decisions based on in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies, and business practices.
- Maintain working knowledge and ensure compliance with the Master Services Agreement (MSA) and relevant amendments or appendices.
- Accountable for financial performance related to Operational Facilities spend while adhering to established budgets.
- Track trends and recommend action plans for KPI/SLA performance below standard (MSA-driven) for Plant Operations/Engineering Services.
- Provide oversight/support in the delivery of maintenance, projects, and vendor activities supporting critical operations.
- Ensure staff is trained in approved practices and procedures related to proper facility maintenance techniques.
- Create a safe work environment by enforcing safety/infection control policies, including proper use of protective clothing/gear and handling of contaminated equipment.
- Ensure all building systems and equipment comply with applicable State/Federal/Local regulatory requirements.
- Determine compliance with standards in areas such as NFPA101 Life Safety Code, Safety Management, Security Management, Hazardous Materials Management, and Waste.

Requirements
- 5+ years of facility management, plant operations, or maintenance supervision experience.
- Managerial experience with proven budget and personnel responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and management skills within matrixed organizations, including oversight of administrative staff and unionized hourly employees.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS SharePoint.
- Computer proficiency in CMMS/Work Order systems.
- Ability to supervise vendor performance during normal and off-hours, including weekends when necessary.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship (no visa sponsorship provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in a related engineering field, formal apprenticeship program, or technical trade school.
- CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or other relevant certifications.
- Oversight of multiple facilities with varied functions.
