Facility Manager

About the Role
Assumes overall responsibility for the management and daily operations of all properties within the designated region. Develops strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of facility, personnel, and processes. Manages and responds to emergency calls and oversees time-critical repairs. Plans and oversees execution of audits, routine maintenance, and improvement projects for facilities and equipment. Builds and maintains quality relationships with key customer stakeholders, internal team members, and external partner service providers.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functionally lead and partner with the EMCOR Field Organization to accomplish account objectives
- Perform 1 facility audit for every active site within the area(s) of responsibility, including completed audit form, required pictures, and verified archival in designated email box
- Build and maintain quality relationships with LC Regional Facility Manager(s), LC Project Team, LCG DVP’s / DM’s, EMCOR Account Team, and the EMCOR Field Organization
- Manage allocated budget for assigned region to within 1% under/over
- Manage KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) across all areas of responsibility and develop action plans as needed to meet performance standards
- Respond to and manage all Emergency Work Orders for areas of responsibility during non-business hours
- Investigate any safety-related issues and address appropriately
Requirements
- BA Degree Preferred
- 5-8 years in Facility Management
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspond accordingly
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Blue Print Reading, Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn to navigate a CMMS system
- Photography – able to take clear pictures
- Flexibility – able to react and perform in a changing environment
- Adaptability – able to work within the confines of our customer, Learning Care Group
- Leadership – able to effectively lead and manage others cross-functionally
