About the role

This Facility Manager position is located in Groton, CT. The essential duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to present a descriptive range of tasks and are not an exhaustive list. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide Project Management (PM) and Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) support for facility locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
• Manage the development and implementation process involving departmental or cross-functional teams.
• Develop project plans and supervise the execution of Statement of Work requirements.
• Create and track task lists, develop timelines for deliverables, and execute a communications plan through scheduled meetings, emails, and telephone calls while managing company resources to ensure quality performance from all employees.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through periodic project reviews, reports, and status briefings.
• Provide supervision, including direction, coordination, and evaluation of contract personnel.

Requirements

• Five to seven (5-7) years of facility maintenance experience.
• Three to five (3-5) years of Project Management (PM) or Operations Management (OM) experience on a facility maintenance contract.
• Thirty (30) hours of OSHA safety training or equivalent within the past three (3) years.
• Three (3) years of satisfactory experience in preparing and enforcing a safety program on contracts of similar size ($10M) and complexity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience with the Department of Defense (DoD).
• HVAC Mechanic, Stationary Engineer, or Maintenance Mechanic experience or state license/certification.

Additional Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
• Obtain and maintain appropriate clearance levels and access to military installations, if applicable to the contract.

Pay

$60,000 - $85,000 per year.
