Responsibilities

  • Oversight of daily maintenance and cleanliness of the facility’s interior and exterior.
  • Development and implementation of quarterly and semi-annual maintenance plans.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective measures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and vendor services.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for outside vendors, including service technicians, plumbers, and other contracted services.
  • Proactively identifying maintenance needs and coordinating timely repairs or improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Aiding in the management of facility-related projects, meeting timelines and quality standards.
  • Fostering a positive working environment by promoting cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

  • Technical or vocational training in facilities management (a plus).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, building management, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and external vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
  • Class A license and forklift certification (a plus).
