Responsibilities
- Oversight of daily maintenance and cleanliness of the facility’s interior and exterior.
- Development and implementation of quarterly and semi-annual maintenance plans.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective measures.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and vendor services.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for outside vendors, including service technicians, plumbers, and other contracted services.
- Proactively identifying maintenance needs and coordinating timely repairs or improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Aiding in the management of facility-related projects, meeting timelines and quality standards.
- Fostering a positive working environment by promoting cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications
- Technical or vocational training in facilities management (a plus).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, building management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and external vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
- Class A license and forklift certification (a plus).
