Position Summary
The Facility Maintenance Technician III is responsible for maintaining the hospital's physical plant, equipment, and grounds in safe, efficient, and operational condition. This role requires advanced knowledge in at least one core trade (HVAC, electrical, or plumbing) and strong working knowledge across general maintenance systems in a healthcare environment. You will play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted hospital operations through preventative maintenance, repairs, system monitoring, and timely response to facility needs.
Core Technical Requirements
- Strong working knowledge in at least one primary trade: HVAC Mechanic, Electrical, or Plumbing
- Hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance systems
- Minimum 6 years of trade-related experience OR journeyman-level equivalent knowledge
- Valid driver's license required

- Schedule: Days | 8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week + Every other weekend + on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or technical training in a related trade OR trade certification/license with equivalent experience
- Military technical training accepted
- Certification: Valid driver's license required
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of trade-related experience OR journeyman-level equivalent knowledge
- Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance systems
- Experience in a hospital or regulated environment preferred
