Facility Maintenance Specialist 3 - 20057058 - Garfield Hts., Cuyahoga County

Job Duties

• Serve as lead worker & provide work direction and training to lower-level facility maintenance specialists and other assigned maintenance staff.
• Inspect, install, maintain, & repair facilities and equipment such as HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Use/operate a computer to verify data, produce and/or maintain work records, & prepare reports.
• Operate equipment such as mowers, tractors, backhoes, forklifts, etc.

Requirements

• Completion of associate core program in facility or industrial maintenance; 4 yrs. exp. in construction/building maintenance that included carpentry, electrical, plumbing & HVAC.
• Or successful completion of post-secondary training in facilities maintenance technology, industrial trades technology or comparable training program; 5 yrs. exp. in construction/building maintenance that included carpentry, electrical, plumbing & HVAC.
• Note: if position will be assigned to operate motorized equipment of size & type regulated by Sections 4506.1, 4506.03 & 4506.12 of Ohio Revised Code, applicant must also have valid commercial driver license; if required to operate state vehicle must have valid driver license.
