Facility Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate regional activities related to energy management and green production across North and South American locations.
  • Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System in alignment with corporate requirements.
  • Drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency, water efficiency, and landfill reduction.
  • Collect, validate, analyze and maintain energy and sustainability related data.
  • Support and collaborate with corporate, EHS, regional colleagues across Schaeffler Production System organization.
  • Plan and coordinate complex non-routine repairs or infrastructure investments, and lead projects in cooperation with Engineering, IT and/or Digitalization, for facilities assigned.
  • Cooperate with Industrial Engineering in the continuous optimization of facilities and technical infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Advanced engineering & physics knowledge.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills (written & verbal).
  • Continuous improvement approach.
  • Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with ISO management systems.
  • Experience in facility or supply system engineering, construction, or industrial maintenance.
