PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company and Customer safety standards and procedures.
- Travel to clients' locations.
- Setting up, calibrating and maintaining NDE equipment.
- Conduct inspections on piping, pressure vessels and storage tanks within facilities and terminals.
- Perform AUT, GUL, Short Range UT, UTT, P&ID redline and creation of inspection ISO’s.
- Willingness to obtain API certifications and ongoing development.
- Program development; key team member in continual improvement of service program to include improvement support of procedures and work instructions.
- Interpreting inspection results, completing inspection reports, and presenting final deliverables to customers.
- Ensures quality and safety standards are achieved and maintained.
- Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Assist other technicians in the field, as necessary.
- Supports and solicits input and feedback from team members at all levels within the organization.
- Works safely and completes all company and client safety daily paperwork.
- Must adhere to company policies and procedures in their entirety.
- Coincide with Business Development to identify strategic accounts and play an active role in developing these accounts.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Assisting data group with QA/QC of report deliverables on assigned projects.
- Using experience and knowledge, assist peers and other Company NDE technicians with questions.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 8+ years of Facility integrity experience required.
- Technical background in NDE methods and procedures.
- NDE experience, ASNT TC-1a Level II or equivalent Certification in UTT, applicable advanced NDE certification (GUL-XB2, AUT, SRUT, PEC).
- Experience in QA/QC functions on a report and NDE method level.
- Significant Experience in report writing.
- Demonstrated capability to perform the responsibilities of an NDE Technician.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Customer management skills.
- Able to continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer and market relationships.
- Able to ensure the delivery of superior solutions to customers.
- Able to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Eligible to work in the U.S., without sponsorship.
- Able to travel 50%.
