Facility Incineration Operations Supervisor- Rotary Kiln Train 2

Reports directly to the Incineration Manager for the rotary kiln unit and supervises Board Operators and Incineration Technicians associated with the operation of the incineration unit.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the incineration unit, including supervision of Board Operators and Incineration Technicians.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times (365 days a year).
  • Maintain knowledge of pumps, feed systems, and automatic controls.
  • Utilize computer systems and operating software for operational control.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 1–2 years of experience in an operations environment (required).
  • 2–4 years of incineration operations experience.
  • 1–2 years of incineration board operations experience.
  • Related experience in operations engineering, project management, or process engineering.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Extensive computer skills and knowledge of operating systems.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance (required).
  • Must pass a respirator fit test upon hire (clean-shaven face required; mustache okay).
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination (required).
  • Updated resume, including most recent employer, required for consideration.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Schedule

  • 4 days per week, 12-hour rotating shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
