Facility in NE Seeks a Locums Family Practice Physician

About the role

Provide outpatient clinic, OB call, and emergency room coverage with a rotating schedule of 10‑15 days per month. See a mix of teen, adult, and geriatric patients (approximately 18‑20 patients per day in clinic, 8‑12 patients per day with mid‑level support on‑site). ER shifts are available in 12‑ or 24‑hour options, with an annual ED volume of about 4,300 visits under single coverage. Rotate between primary care clinic, walk‑in clinic, and ER.

Responsibilities

• See patients in outpatient, OB call, and ER settings.
• Perform procedures such as suture placement and suture removal.
• Provide mid‑level support on‑site, seeing 8‑12 patients per day.
• Enter assignment details and time via the online portal.
• Rotate between PC clinic, walk‑in clinic, and ER.

Requirements

• EM experience preferred.
• Ability to perform sutures and suture removals.
• Comfortable seeing a diverse patient mix (teens, adults, geriatric).

Skills

• Suturing and suture removal.
• Emergency medicine experience.
• Clinical assessment of teen, adult, and geriatric patients.
