Facility in MO Seeks a Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgeon

About the role

Physician specializing in orthopedic procedures with a focus on arthroscopy, total joint replacement, joint revision, spine procedures, hand procedures, and tendon repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide call coverage on a flexible schedule, averaging 10 patients per shift.
• Conduct approximately 5 phone consults and see 4 patients within 24 hours.
• Perform orthopedic procedures, including joint replacements, revisions, spine, hand, and tendon repairs.
• Maintain hospital privileges and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in online documentation of assignment details and time entry.

Requirements

• Experience in arthroscopy, joint replacement, revision, spine, hand, and tendon procedures preferred.
• Ability to handle call-back rate of around 10%.
• Eligible for hospital privileges.
• Strong communication and clinical skills.

Pay

Hourly rate from $200.00 to $240.00, all-inclusive of base pay, overtime, call, and holiday pay.
