Facility Float Pool LPN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Position Overview

Responsible for providing patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed healthcare professional. Ensures professional accountability, coordinates care with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Adheres to organizational mission, values, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a facility float pool setting.
• Utilize nursing skills to support patient recovery and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform physical duties including lifting, standing, walking, and other movements as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED and graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current Missouri LPN license and compliance with state licensing requirements.
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience, with 6 months recent experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; LPN-IV certification or course completion within three months if applicable.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, walking, and other physical activities.
