Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain facility utility systems, including: HVAC systems, purified water (PW) systems, compressed air systems, chillers and cooling towers, boilers and steam generation systems, electrical distribution systems.
- Monitor facility performance and utility consumption.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.
- Cook correct and emergency maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement root cause corrective actions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance records.
GMP & Compliance
- Ensure facility systems comply with cosmetic GMP requirements.
- Support equipment qualification activities: IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), PQ (Performance Qualification).
- Maintain facility-related SOPs and documentation.
- Support internal and external audits.
Capital Projects
- Support facility expansion and new equipment installation projects.
- Participate in facility design reviews and commissioning activities.
- Cook and coordinate contractors and vendors.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
Safety & Environmental Management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Conduct facility risk assessments.
- Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive facility reliability and operational efficiency improvements.
- Analyze utility usage trends and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Implement Lean, TPM, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- PREFERRED: Professional Engineer certification.
- Preferred: Experience in Cosmetics manufacturing, Pharmaceutical manufacturing, Food manufacturing, and/or GMP-regulated environments.
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in Manufacturing facilities engineering, Utility system maintenance, or Industrial plant operations.
Technical Knowledge
- Required: HVAC systems, mechanical utilities, electrical systems, root cause analysis, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preventive maintenance programs.
- PREFERRED: GMP regulations, validation and qualification processes, building management systems (BMS), AutoCAD, energy management systems.

Pay Range
The anticipated compensation range is $13.00 - $41.00 USD per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location.
