Facility & Building Maintenance Weekend

Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM (10-hour shifts, Thursday–Sunday or Friday–Monday) | Hourly rate: $30.82 + $1.00 shift differential

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety behaviors with focus on zero injuries and OSHA compliance.
• Perform repairs and maintenance for roofs, pipes, walls, floors, doors, docks, and other building structures.
• Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) including HazWhoper response team and sustain HazWhoper training.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant systems:
  • Monitor and document systems including wastewater, boilers, and condensers.
  • Troubleshoot to identify defects and create plans to eliminate them.
• Actively support the Conagra Performance System (CPS) process: 5S, CIL, Centerline, BDA, Safety, QA, etc.
• Adjust manual controls or override automatic controls to bring equipment into recommended operating ranges, switch to backup systems, or shutdown equipment.
• Inspect equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.
• Maintain equipment via adjustments, lubrication, repairs, and managing controls.
• Perform safety checks of the grounds and facility.
• Requisition spare parts, materials, and supplies as required.
• Record maintenance and operations activities.
• Support 5S in the Maintenance Department and create/execute a Personal Action Plan.
• Support Break Down Elimination DMS.
• Work overtime as required to achieve production, sanitation, and maintenance schedules.
• Provide support for the PM Pillar and Autonomous maintenance functions of CPS.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager(s).

Requirements

• Working knowledge of HVAC, air intakes, and exhaust fans is a plus.
