Facility Attendant

Requirements

• A High School or GED diploma is preferred.
• Effective communication skills are essential.
• Previous experience working with VA population is preferred.
• At least 18 years old is required.
• Prior experience in Residential or Drug and Alcohol treatment setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and harassment-free environment conducive to recovery.
• Perform building checks for cleanliness and safety, including all rooms.
• Report incidents immediately to supervisor or program manager and follow Merakey policy.
• Monitor residents while they take their prescribed medication and report any issues.
• Ensure assigned chores are completed and general inspections are done properly.
