Facility Assistant
Summary
Principal Accountabilities:
- Slot items in the pick faces in the most efficient order for pick up
- Maintain an inventory of supplies, order shipping supplies as necessary, and coordinate delivery of supplies within the campus
- Maintain locations and create new locations in the RTCIS system
- Design and print barcode labels
- Affix case, weights, and measures function
- Affix zoning of new brand codes
- Affix assisting in training employees
- Affix resolving basic computer issues and assisting in troubleshooting
Additional Operations
- Monitor system looking for new orders that need to be vetted/distributed to the DCFCs
- Communicate via email, teams and/or phone advising of orders
- Make BOLs for URGENT SEV1/SEV2 orders and send to DCFC
- Notify driver of urgent order(s) & to report to DCFC immediately
- Follow up with DCFC to ensure they received order and are actively working them
- Follow up with DCFC to ensure orders make it out for delivery on their intended delivery dates
- Follow up with DCFC for PODs to re-assign or “close” tickets
- Input new items into item master for BY
- Upload ASNs/Orders into BY
- Affix any other tasks that may fit into their line of work as we discover more about this new scope of work
Essential Functions
- Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Knowledge and Skills:
- This is a specialist level position
- Good interpersonal skills required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Generally prefer 4-6 years of experience
- Must be familiar with OSHA regulations, able to operate a variety of equipment such as a forklift and a computer, and have strong organizational, inventory and accounting skills
Pay
The expected base pay range is $20 – $23. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
