Facilities Worker II / Middlesboro Campus

Salary: $25,896.00 | 12-month contract | 37.5 hours per week | On-site | Non-exempt

About the role

Performs general cleaning and maintains grounds of campus facilities for a clean and sanitary environment for students, faculty, staff, and the general public on a daily basis. The shift is from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This schedule is subject to change to meet the needs of the academic class schedule.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and removes waste and recyclables.
• Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances; reports issues to appropriate entities.
• Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment; documents inventory and requests additional supplies as needed.
• Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs.
• Cleans and disinfects restrooms, classrooms, eating areas, offices, and meeting rooms.
• Provides groundskeeping services such as mowing and weed eating.
• Maintains clean walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice.

Requirements

• High school degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
