Facilities Waste Water Treatment Technician (2nd Shift) (63707)

Job Functions

• Completes checklists and documentation related to water treatment operations, water softener, and compressed air systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance on a timely basis.
• Completes repairs to wastewater treatment equipment, water softener equipment and compressed air equipment as assigned.
• Completes repairs to fire protection system components as assigned.
• Responsible for proper documentation and record keeping.
• Supports “on-call” status as assigned among all technicians.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Affords assistance to Building & Grounds department with tasks and duties when available.
• Affords assistance with special assignments during plant shut down periods.

Requirements

• Maintain forklift and high lift license.
• 1+ years relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic skills in WWT, mechanical, and electrical trades.
• Basic electric and plumbing knowledge preferred.
• Ability to complete assessment test upon hire.
• Willingness to learn.
