About the role

The Senior Facilities Engineer will lead facility engineering efforts for new tool installations, capacity expansion projects, utility infrastructure upgrades, and system reliability improvements. The role will work closely with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, EHS, and Facilities Operations to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted support of fab operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate utility maps, P&IDs, CAD drawings, and as-built documentation while ensuring all facility systems meet applicable SEMI, NFPA, OSHA, environmental, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new semiconductor manufacturing tools, including toxic gas distribution, hazardous exhaust, gas monitoring, and abatement systems.
  • Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives for existing facility systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing facilities, with a focus on facility engineering and reliability.
  • Experience with SEMI, NFPA, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of utility systems, gas monitoring, and safety systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and facility management systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of facility safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this position is $92,310.40 - $131,996.80. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
