Facilities Technician I

Key accountabilities

• Execute assigned preventative maintenance tasks
• Respond to basic service requests and maintenance work
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs under guidance
• Support contractor work on-site (access and basic assistance)
• Maintain accurate work order updates in CMMS
• Identify and escalate issues beyond capability
• Support general Facilities activities to upkeep and maintain safe and functional operations
• Regular communication with Facilities Coordinator and team
• Cordination with team members on task execution, support and escalation
• Interacts regularly with internal customers

Knowledge and Experience

• High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent or qualification from an accredited institution
• Experience in construction or property maintenance
• 1-3 years in maintenance. similar role, or equivalent
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Familiarity of basic building repairs and tools
• Follow direction and complete assigned tasks
• Willingness to learn facility systems
