Qualifications
- 1-2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience and HVAC experience preferred, but not required
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in a residential community (Preferred)
- Flexible scheduling, weekdays/weekends, holidays, etc., and response to after-hours emergency calls
- Pool Certification is a Plus (Preferred)
Job Duties
- Maintain all facilities, including but not limited to all equipment and property
- Inspect all facilities and equipment as needed for operations and any potential hazardous conditions which may or may not exist
- Report any problems to Facilities Manager immediately
- Work on daily and weekly plan activities
- Assess urgency of work and recommend priority to Facilities Manager
- Keep, maintain, mark and secure Community Property (tools)
- Reasonable availability for after hours emergencies to include occasional weekend rotation
- Check and inspect all Community trails daily
- Maintain inventory of all supplies needed for the Community as approved by the Community budget
- Regular maintenance of facilities
- Assess materials needed for repair issues in advance and consolidate procurement time & travel
- Maintain order and cleanliness of maintenance office, supply shed, and immediate yard area
