Facilities Technician

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience and HVAC experience preferred, but not required
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in a residential community (Preferred)
• Flexible scheduling, weekdays/weekends, holidays, etc., and response to after-hours emergency calls
• Pool Certification is a Plus (Preferred)

Job Duties

• Maintain all facilities, including but not limited to all equipment and property
• Inspect all facilities and equipment as needed for operations and any potential hazardous conditions which may or may not exist
• Report any problems to Facilities Manager immediately
• Work on daily and weekly plan activities
• Assess urgency of work and recommend priority to Facilities Manager
• Keep, maintain, mark and secure Community Property (tools)
• Reasonable availability for after hours emergencies to include occasional weekend rotation
• Check and inspect all Community trails daily
• Maintain inventory of all supplies needed for the Community as approved by the Community budget
• Regular maintenance of facilities
• Assess materials needed for repair issues in advance and consolidate procurement time & travel
• Maintain order and cleanliness of maintenance office, supply shed, and immediate yard area
