Facilities Support

About the role

A Campus Support Specialist provides facilities and IT support, assists employees with computer software, hardware, or system problems, and supports campus and student servicing departments. This role works closely with the Campus Director and MIS team to ensure system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep sites/building and related services, including hanging materials, light facilities work, and repairs.
• Coordinate with co-workers to assign request orders and ensure repairs are properly completed.
• Answer technical questions from employees/students and resolve problems via telephone, email, or in person by guiding them through solutions.
• Provide technical support to all levels of staff and users.
• Assist the IT team with computer setup, changing printer toners, and installing/repairing company computer hardware and software.
• Book and material distribution, proctoring entrance assessments, and supporting student servicing departments.
• Perform other non-technical campus tasks as assigned by the Campus Director.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalency.
• 1+ years of facilities-related experience.
• General computer knowledge, including hardware repair and setup.
• Ability to problem-solve and instruct others on resolving computer-related issues.
• Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.

Pay

$25–28 per hour.
