Facilities Supervisor

Position Summary

Responsible for providing effective leadership and directing the work of subordinates. Additional duties include ensuring preventative facilities tasks are performed according to schedule and maintaining a safe and efficient facility.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Cookware, plumbing, electrical, electronic, and mechanical applications
• Install and repair facilities support equipment
• Manage maintenance activities related to facility equipment
• Coordinate services provided by contractors and vendors
• Develop and maintain contractor records
• Support the Maintenance and Facilities Manager
• Contribute to a positive work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years of related experience and supervisory skills
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of facility-related equipment and quality control procedures in a food manufacturing setting
• Ability to forecast and identify improvement opportunities in building maintenance
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to manage facilities employees
• Strong problem-solving and implementation skills
• Hvac knowledge
• PC skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and reach
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Push/Pull up to 300 lbs
