Facilities Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the role

This position is for the D501 Supervisor for Transfer Cars and MIP equipment within the Facilities trade organization. The role involves managing a team of Maintenance Machinists and Electronics Mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and schedule daily/weekly workloads using CMMS
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain safety (JHA) and training programs
• Conduct preventative maintenance program of submarine transfer cars
• Utilize process improvement programs
• Work with outside contractors and support other Facilities and Operations organizations to complete job tasks

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems/equipment
• Must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:
• 1 year facilities maintenance trade experience at electric boat
• 3 year facilities maintenance experience and leadership experience in a high-volume setting
• 1 year EB experience and an Engineering degree in a related field
• Preferred Experience: EB or trade supervision is a plus
• 5+ years’ experience working in facility maintenance
• Basic electrical experience a plus
• Technical certificate(s) preferred
