Facilities Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the facilities department staff and external subcontractors
• Design, implement, and manage facility upgrades and renovations
• Supervise routine maintenance and repairs of building systems
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and operational expenses
• Coincordinate with contractors and service providers for specialized tasks
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and facility modifications
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facility Management, or related field and/or related course work or equivalent experience plus a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the field required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience required
• Shipbuilding industry experience preferred
