Pay

$70,761.12 – $77,837.23 annually, depending on experience. Potential career earning trajectory up to $101,896.01 annually over time.

Schedule

Grave shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Weekends and holidays required.

About the role

Under the direction of the Facilities Operations Manager, the Facilities Shift Supervisor assists with maintaining building maintenance operations and critical systems. The position provides guidance to the maintenance and grounds team and leads the team to complete all assigned duties and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Maintenance department, ensuring efficient operations, safety, compliance with building codes, and timely completion of renovation projects
• Oversee remodeling, renovation, and construction projects; manage third-party contractor relationships to ensure quality service and adherence to standards
• Maintain knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; ensure all preventative maintenance and service requests are completed on time and to high-quality standards
• Lead shift meetings, provide direction, manage staff performance, and ensure effective communication within the team to achieve departmental goals
• Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations; maintain accurate records of tasks, service reports, and department performance
• Step into the Facilities Operations Manager role as needed and take on other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Three years of facilities and operational management experience at a property of comparable size and infrastructure, including knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, carpet installation, kitchen equipment, and environmental services
• Knowledge of emergency shut-off procedures for gas, water, electricity, etc.

Skills

• Familiarity with business administration, engineering, and design principles, with hands-on experience to support facility management functions
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Technical or vocational training in construction or maintenance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
• Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ability to provide clear safety instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience leading others in a supervisory or lead role
