Facilities Services Temp (Academic Year)

About the Role

This temporary position serves the campus community in the capacity determined by the Director, focusing on General Maintenance, Housekeeping, or Grounds Care.

Responsibilities

• Serve the campus community in areas such as General Maintenance, General Housekeeping, or General Grounds Care.
• Assist where needed within Facilities Services.
• Adhere to safety regulations and standards outlined in the IWU safety policy.
• Comply with processes and procedures established by Facilities Management and Indiana Wesleyan University administration.
• May be required to work overtime as directed by supervision.

Requirements

• Strong Christian commitment and adherence to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
• High School diploma (completed or in progress).
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member on detailed day-to-day tasks.

Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent decision-making skills.
• Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
