Job Summary
Oversees, coordinates, plans, and directs the daily operations of Facilities Services technicians across all trades. Responsibilities include managing projects related to mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, energy management, building controls, and utility systems. Ensures the effective delivery of services and maintains compliance with all applicable maintenance standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct daily operations and service delivery during the shift.
- Ensure staff consistently meet quality and safety standards.
- Provide coaching, training, consultation, and performance evaluations for staff.
- Plan, schedule, and organize work assignments to optimize staff utilization, workspace, and resources.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with management to achieve established goals.
- Determine required tools, equipment, and supplies for each project; ensure their proper use and maintenance.
- Inspect completed work to verify adherence to quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of facilities experience.
- Valid Driver's License Required.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory organizations.
- Excellent leadership and communications skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems.
