Facilities Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical and Project Engineer to lead and manage facility-related projects, including designing mechanical systems, developing schedules, budgets, and resource plans. You will oversee site activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure project completion within scope, time, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Supporting mechanical systems operation
• Managing Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS)
• Troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Supervising team members
• Supporting system maintenance
• Training associates on operational enhancements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3-6 years of project management experience
• Intermediate knowledge of control systems architecture (e.g., Tridium, Siemens)

Skills

• Strong communication
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Knowledge of electrical and structural systems (preferred)
• Experience with project flow, budgeting, and reporting (preferred)
