Facilities SCADA Engineer

Role: Senior/Staff Facilities SCADA Engineer responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing automation systems that support facility operations. Responsibilities Develop and maintain PLC programs using Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, and FasTrak 505 WorkshopConfigure and support HMI applications with AVEVA System Platform OMIDeploy and troubleshoot Siemens automation hardware across platformsCollaborate with engineering, operations, and vendors to ensure system reliability, performance, and commissioningDocument code, system changes, and configurationsUtilize AI tools to improve workflows and support continuous improvement Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering or related field, or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years of PLC programming, hardware, and system architecture experienceProficiency with Siemens PLC platforms (Step 7, TIA Portal)Experience with SCADA systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity fundamentalsPreferred: 7+ years in SCADA/PLC, experience with AVEVA System Platform OMI, FasTrak 505 Workshop, and industrial protocols like PROFIBUS and PROFINETAbility to interpret P&IDs and troubleshoot complex issues
