Facilities R&M tech

This role is responsible for streamlining common initiatives, ensuring alignment and unity, and executing design work that meets quality standards and timelines. The position involves identifying team needs for process, tools, and documentation improvements, conducting design reviews, and developing scalable design systems.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical equipment supporting fab and lab operations, including HVAC, vacuum pumps, air compressors, dryer systems, sump pump systems, process cooling water distribution systems, acid exhaust/scrubber systems, and makeup air handling units.
• New tool installations, startup permit verification signoffs, lockout/tagout procedures, and working with chemicals and gases.
• Streamline activities under common initiatives, managing achievements and touchpoints to ensure alignment and unity.
• Execute design work that consistently meets defined quality standards within specified timelines.
• Identify team needs regarding processes, tools, documentation, and asset management, driving necessary changes to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct design reviews with peers and management to demonstrate compliance with specification targets and requirements.
• Develop design systems and standards that scale across organizations and can be deployed globally.
• Collaborate with platform architects and systems groups to define overall specifications based on system requirements.
• Act as project management administrator to ensure all required project information and documentation are clearly provided on drawing sets.
• Apply design thinking methods to translate requirements into hypotheses, conduct research, and facilitate activities to uncover product connections.
• Generate innovative product ideas through collaborative brainstorming and exploration.
• Foster team knowledge of best design practices and trends.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to individual contributors in lower-level roles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), Higher Secondary education, or commensurate work experience/demonstrated competence.
• Typically 6-8 years of related work experience, preferably in product design or a related field.
• Preferred: AutoCAD Certification.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $59,350 to $82,000 USD annually (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
