Facilities Project Management Specialist

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirements

Department of Defense Secret security clearance must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
• Determines project requirements and coordinates with internal staff and outside consultants to ensure projects are completed in accordance with contract.
• Prepares bid sheets for construction and facilities acquisition.
• Using CAD, plans facility changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Schedules, designs, coordinates, and implements facilities, real estate, and environmental projects.
• Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.
• Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Develops and performs simple to semi-complex design analysis, including verification of estimates.
• Consistently and successfully completes engineering and design for projects up to $500 k and/or multiple projects simultaneously of similar complexity.
• Reviews and estimates design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
• Interacts with external design firms and contractors as well as internal customers and organization leadership.
• Serves as lead on project team for functional discipline.

Pay

Target salary range: USD $96,289.00 per year – USD $106,821.00 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
