About the role

The Facilities Porter I is responsible for the general upkeep of the dining room and surrounding areas. This position is key to driving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Wipe down tables and chairs after guest use
• Fill condiment dispensers
• Refill paper goods such as straws and napkins
• Sweep and mop floors
• Operate special equipment like vacuums
• Move furniture as needed
• Assist the supervisor with any tasks required

Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.

Requirements

• Ability to work with the public
• Ability to work well under time constraints
• Must be able to spend entire shift on their feet
• Must be able to use cleaning chemicals and products safely

This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $16.00 to $19.00.
