Polytainers Inc. · Lees Summit, MO · 1 mo ago
ManagementFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes description about company and role. We need to use

for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections where there is real specific content. No filler. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. Remove boilerplate. We need to preserve all substantive info. Let's parse content: - Location: Lee’s Summit, MO - Department: Facilities - Shift: Shift 7 am to 3 pm (Mon to Fri) - Company description: At Polytainers... (multiple paragraphs). This could be "About the role" or maybe "About the company". The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we can put company description under About the role. - POSITION SUMMARY: ... This is also about role. - What You’ll Do: list of duties -> Responsibilities. - What You Bring: qualifications, requirements -> Requirements/Qualifications/Skills. - Preferred Experience: could be part of Qualifications or Skills. - What Success Looks Like: maybe part of Responsibilities or Skills? Could be included under Responsibilities or maybe a separate section like Expectations but not in allowed headings. Could incorporate into Responsibilities. We must not create sections with placeholder text. Benefits, Pay, Schedule: we have shift info (Schedule). So we can include Schedule section with shift details. Benefits: not mentioned. Pay: not mentioned. So omit those. We need to include About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (or Qualifications), Skills, Schedule. We must use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So for responsibilities list, we need ul li. For requirements list also ul li. For skills maybe also list. We need to preserve all substantive info; do not invent or summarize away detail. Let's extract details. About the role: combine company description and position summary. Company description paragraphs: "At Polytainers, we create packaging that helps protect the food products people enjoy every day. Together, we partner for success, win through teamwork and create packaging solutions for today and tomorrow." Position summary: "We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician II to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our facility’s building systems, utilities, and infrastructure. This role is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement activities that minimize utility downtime and support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Our large manufacturing facility includes injection molding, IML, thermoforming, printing, and warehouse operations. This position focuses exclusively on facilities and utility systems and does not maintain production equipment. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, independent troubleshooter with strong electrical and mechanical skills and experience maintaining industrial utility systems." We'll combine. Responsibilities (What You’ll Do): List items: - Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair facility and utility equipment failures. - Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including 480V three-phase power, motors, motor starters, VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, and control circuits. - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, valves, piping, fans, belts, bearings, and rotating equipment. - Troubleshoot and maintain major facility utility systems such as chilled water, cooling towers, compressed air, HVAC, boilers, steam, and associated equipment, based on qualifications and experience. - Support building automation systems (BAS), facility controls, sensors, and instrumentation. - Maintain facility electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, and supporting building infrastructure within your authorized scope. - Install, modify, and commission facility electrical and mechanical equipment and components. - Respond to utility breakdowns and facility emergencies, identifying root causes and completing safe, effective repairs. - Perform inspections, identify recurring failures, and recommend improvements to equipment reliability. - Maintain accurate CMMS work orders, preventive maintenance records, and equipment history. - Support facility improvement and capital projects, including coordination with contractors and outside service providers. - Identify critical spare parts and communicate inventory requirements. - Assist and mentor less-experienced maintenance technicians as appropriate. - Follow all plant safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, OSHA, and environmental procedures. Requirements (What You Bring): - High school diploma or GED required. - Technical degree, apprenticeship, industrial maintenance certification, or equivalent technical training preferred. - 3–7 years of industrial facilities, utilities, or industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to independently diagnose problems and determine appropriate corrective actions. - Experience with three-phase electrical systems, motors, motor starters, VFDs, pumps, and rotating equipment. - Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting multiple facility utility systems, such as HVAC, chilled water, cooling towers, compressed air, boilers, steam, or BAS. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals. - Working knowledge of CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs. - Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple maintenance requirements, and respond effectively to facility emergencies. - Ability to safely use electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic tools and test equipment. - Ability to perform work within applicable qualifications, certifications, and authorized scopes. - Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in mechanical or equipment rooms as required. - Availability for occasional off-shift, overtime, or emergency maintenance support. Preferred Experience (could be part of Requirements or Skills). We'll treat as additional qualifications. Preferred Experience list: - Industrial chilled water and cooling tower systems. - Compressed air systems, including compressors, dryers, and distribution. - Boilers, steam, and condensate systems. - HVAC and building automation systems (BAS). - Facility electrical distribution and motor control systems. - PLCs, controls, sensors, and instrumentation associated with utility systems. - CMMS-based preventive maintenance and reliability improvement programs. - Contractor coordination and facility improvement or capital projects. What Success Looks Like: could be included under Responsibilities or maybe a separate section like Expectations but not allowed. We could incorporate into Responsibilities as bullet points? But it's more about expectations. Could add a section "Expectations" but not allowed headings. Maybe we can add under Responsibilities as additional bullet: "Work with limited supervision, take ownership of assigned facility systems, independently troubleshoot complex utility problems, identify root causes, communicate effectively with Facilities leadership and plant operations, contribute to long-term equipment reliability." That seems appropriate. We'll add that as part of Responsibilities. Schedule: Shift 7 am to 3 pm (Mon to Fri). Also location and department maybe included in About the role or separate? Could add a short paragraph with location and department under About the role or as a separate meta paragraph. Since we cannot create headings for location/department, we can include them in About the role paragraph. We must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. Not present. Now produce HTML fragment:

    About the role

    ... (company description + position summary + location/department)

    Responsibilities

    • ...
    • ...

    Requirements

    • ...
    • ...

    Skills

Maybe we can combine some skill items that are not covered in Requirements? But we already have many skill-like items in Requirements. Could still have Skills section for things like "Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics..." but those are already in Requirements. To avoid duplication, we could split: Requirements for education/experience, Skills for abilities. But we must not create thin sections. However we have enough content for Skills: ability to read schematics, working knowledge of CMMS, ability to work independently, ability to safely use tools, ability to work from ladders, availability for off-shift. Those are skills. Could keep Requirements for education/experience and preferred experience, Skills for abilities. Let's decide: - About the role: company description + position summary + location/department. - Responsibilities: list of duties. - Requirements: education, experience, preferred experience. - Skills: abilities (troubleshooting, reading schematics, CMMS, independent work, tool use, ladders, off-shift availability). - Schedule: shift details. We must not create sections with placeholder text. All have content. Now ensure we don't repeat info. We'll need to extract appropriate items. Let's list: Education/Experience: - High school diploma or GED required. - Technical degree, apprenticeship, industrial maintenance certification, or equivalent technical training preferred. - 3–7 years of industrial facilities, utilities, or industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Experience (list): - Industrial chilled water and cooling tower systems. - Compressed air systems, including compressors, dryers, and distribution. - Boilers, steam, and condensate systems. - HVAC and building automation systems (BAS). - Facility electrical distribution and motor control systems. - PLCs, controls, sensors, and instrumentation associated with utility systems. - CMMS-based preventive maintenance and reliability improvement programs. - Contractor coordination and facility improvement or capital projects. Skills: - Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to independently diagnose problems and determine appropriate corrective actions. Now Responsibilities list we already have; we may also add the success expectations bullet. Let's add to Responsibilities: - Work with limited supervision, take ownership of assigned facility systems, and independently troubleshoot complex utility problems. - Identify root causes rather than simply replace failed components. - Communicate effectively with Facilities leadership and plant operations. - Contribute to long-term equipment reliability. Now About the role paragraph: combine company description, position summary, location, department. We'll write:
