Responsibilities
- Coordination of multiple contractors
- Facility maintenance to assist maintenance staff when needed on tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, locksmithing, and painting
- Monitor and maintain building security systems
- Plans and implements moves and relocations
- Hires, trains, and supervises maintenance and cleaning services
- Assists in renovation projects
- Conducts safety and building compliance inspections
- Participates in facility related licensing and certification processes
- Fulfills an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours emergencies such as heat, hot water, and security issues
- Operates vehicles and equipment such as trucks, plows, snow blowers, and other power equipment
Requirements
- Minimum of three years relevant experience in office operations and building management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Computer literate including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer with the ability to learn new software applications
