Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of all company facilities, including offices, warehouses, distribution centers, and restaurant locations
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure
  • Cookout and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Oversee repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, roofing, landscaping, and general building maintenance
  • Manage facility budgets, expenditures, and vendor contracts
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, building codes, OSHA requirements, and company policies
  • Cookout and respond promptly to facility-related incidents
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, permits, warranties, and vendor services
  • Assist with facility renovations, remodels, and new construction projects
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, contractors, landlords, and government agencies
  • Support company growth initiatives, including site evaluations, new store openings, and facility transitions
  • Ensure all locations maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance
  • Provide regular reports to executive management regarding facility performance, maintenance needs, and capital improvement projects

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and general building systems
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and maintenance personnel
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and facility compliance requirements
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Intermediate to expert-level computer skills, including the ability to use multiple applications and systems daily for communication and documentation
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between company locations as needed
  • Ability to walk facilities and inspect equipment for extended periods
  • Ability to climb ladders and access rooftops or elevated work areas when necessary
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours when required

Pay

Attractive salary package (Range $72,000 to $85,000)

Schedule

Frequent travel between company locations may be required, along with occasional evening, weekend, or emergency response work.
