Responsibilities
- Oversee, manage and direct all maintenance procedures and operations
- Ensure all facilities infrastructure related equipment is up to working standards
- Absess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency
- Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems
- Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all facilities infrastructure related tools, equipment etc.)
- Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts
- Oversee repairs
- Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures
- Mentor and coach employees on career planning and growth
- Create a work environment with safety as a top priority
- Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work
- Record and track daily progress/error reports
- Lead root cause analysis activities on facilities related system failures
- Maintain vendor relationships and order new materials as needed
- Manage and adhere to maintenance budgets
- Collaborate with management on capital spending
- Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
Requirements
- US Citizenship Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ Years experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of mechanical and electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
