About the role

Under the direction of the Resident Director: manage facilities operations at the scenic 9000-acre Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center located 180 miles northeast of the UCR campus. Maintain, improve and protect facilities, natural landscapes and systems that benefit and support on-going research and teaching programs. These include structures, utilities, vehicles, roads, trails, fences, and other infrastructure. Coordinate daily operational aspects of the GMDRC, such as user management and administration, construction contractor and vendor services, patrolling, purchasing and deliveries, museum curation, and facilitating events and meetings.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
