About the role
The Facilities Maintenance Technician - CPO position is located at Eaton's Capital Blvd site in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with production teams to support initiatives including line set up and relocation, equipment modifications and repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs.
- Record and schedule preventative maintenance.
- Requisition parts, materials, labor, and support to complete job tasks.
- Fabricate replacement parts as needed for machinery.
- Lead and manage special projects as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include welding experience and / or certifications, hazardous waste management / hazardous waste operations emergency response knowledge, certified HVAC training and / or certifications, basic working knowledge and experience with computers.
Skills
- Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
Pay
The pay rate for this position is $24 per hour.
Schedule
Core hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm.
