Facilities Maintenance Technician
About the role
The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in supporting PCC Carson City’s manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and equipment
- Attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a maintenance or repair role
- Valid driver’s license
Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and hydraulics
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
