About the role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our outdoor venue on a seasonal, as-needed basis during the summer months. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson or facilities professional looking to pick up flexible, part-time work without a fixed weekly schedule.
Responsibilities
- Replace and repair deck boards and other exterior wood structures
- Mend and reinforce wooden fences and gates
- Repair parking lot wire barriers and related hardware
- Perform small concrete repairs (patching, minor forming, surface repairs)
- Mount and install hardware, signage, brackets, and fixtures
- Perform general facilities repairs as needed (minor carpentry, basic metal work, light demolition)
- Identify potential maintenance issues and recommend solutions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Cookout with venue management regarding project timelines and priorities
Requirements
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or skilled trades
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry, basic concrete work, and general repairs
- Able to safely use hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer conditions
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and responsive when called for work
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed
