As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Kimberly-Clark’s new 1.5 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Warren, OH, you will maintain the building infrastructure, utilities, and facility support systems that keep operations safe, reliable, and efficient. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and building systems.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain:
    • HVAC and air handling systems
    • Compressed air systems
    • Chilled water and cooling systems
    • Domestic water and sanitary systems
    • Fire protection and sprinkler systems
    • Lighting systems
    • Building electrical distribution (within qualifications)
    • Dock equipment and overhead doors
    • Roof drainage systems
    • Facility plumbing
    • Building automation systems (BAS)
  • Monitor utility systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Complete work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment history accurately.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new facility equipment and infrastructure.
  • Project management: Coordinate with contractors performing specialized maintenance or construction activities.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
  • Support emergency response efforts for facility-related issues.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • State and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED, or Grade 12 certificate.
  • 2+ years of experience in Industrial Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical Technology, or Mechanical Technology and 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing facility.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, piping diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
  • Experience using CMMS software.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment, drug screening, background check, and post-offer/pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in large manufacturing facilities (500,000+ square feet preferred).
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience up to 480V.
  • Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Experience with compressed air systems, chillers, cooling towers, and industrial utilities.
  • Forklift, aerial lift, and scissor lift certification.
  • Welding and fabrication experience.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies.

Pay

Starting hourly wage: $40.00 USD. This position is eligible for overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year. The stated pay rate applies to US locations only.
